Why do groups, organizations, and nations so often replay the same conflicts? What invisible forces shape how we see "us" and "them"? And what does it take to work with these forces, rather than be worked by them, in our organizations and societies?

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

Over three days in Vienna, Regine Scholz and Jerry Fromm from the International Dialogue Initiative (IDI),  founded by Vamik Volkan to explore the psychological barriers to peaceful conflict resolution, and Erik van de Loo and Michael Shiel, from the INSEAD Executive Master in Change,  will open up and explore these topics in a unique event, exclusive to EMC alumni. Together, they’ll help participants to understand these powerful dynamics and to translate them into their own contexts, connecting societal dynamics to the realities of their organisations, leadership roles, and change practice. The Workshop will include lectures/discussions, personal reflection sessions, and exploration of members’ cases.

Payment Notes

  • Payments made via Wise do not incur any additional fees.
  • Participants choosing to pay via PayPal are responsible for covering the transaction fee of 6% of the total amount.
  • Participants paying by bank transfer are asked to add €25 to cover banking and processing charges.

Fee reductions are available on request.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received on or before September 22 are eligible for a full refund, minus a €35 administrative fee.

Cancellations received between September 23 and October 6 are eligible for a 50% refund, minus a €35 administrative fee.

After October 6, refunds cannot be provided unless the participant’s place can be filled by someone from the waiting list.

In all cases, a €35 administrative fee will be deducted from any refund issued.
